Experimenting with materials is the most interesting aspect of making art. At least it is for me. I enjoy combining printmaking, collage, and clay. The results are rather surprising three dimensional abstracts. I also make clay sculptures with various surface treatments that do not involve glazes. Of course conventional printmaking also provides endless possibilities for new ideas.  .   .   Jan Dorrisn
